On 28 February and 1 March 2015, over 320 participants turned up for NBDCS' All In! Young Writers Media Festival 2015!
The 2-day festival, which was held at the new [email protected] at orchardgateway, featured a total of 21 speakers, 6 moderators, 11 panel and seminar discussions, and 5 workshops. Speakers included Felix Cheong, Ray Pang, Otto Fong, Verena Tay, Catherine Carvell and Samantha De Silva.

The Book Council is currently looking for leaders to join its small but dynamic Secretariat to be an advocate for and promote its programmes.
The Book Council staff will have the chance to :

- Meet writers and members of the book and publishing community in Singapore and the region
- Assist in organising training programmes
- Develop personal and professional relationships with members of the literary arts and publishing community
We are looking for young professionals in the literary and publishing field who are passionate about our mission and who are looking for meaningful ways to engage with our diverse initiatives. You can be a young writer on the side, a marketing and PR Executive hoping to get experience in the non-profit sector, or someone mature looking to give back to your community.

Yeng Pway Ngon is a poet, novelist, playwright and critic who has published 25 books: five novels, two collections of short stories, three volumes of poetry, two collections of stage plays, 11 volumes of essays and a collection each of social critiques and literary critiques. Yeng’s work is noted for its examination of the modern human condition, and has been translated to English, Malay and even Dutch.
