Marketing intern

The intern will be working in a dynamic, innovative and nurturing environment. As Singapore Book Council (SBC) is a growing organisation, the intern will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of running an arts organisation, including programming, marketing, publicity, and outreach.

In particular, the intern may work closely on a number of SBC’s events like our workshops and community outreach events, and our signature events, including Open: Singapore Young Writers Lab (formerly "All In! Young Writers Festival"), Singapore Literature Prize, Asian Festival of Children’s Content and BuySingLit.

Some of the intern’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to

The intern is expected to be able to work independently as well as collaboratively, as part of a team, be highly motivated, open to working in a flexible environment and keen to contribute.

It is preferable but not required that the intern has a passion for writing and books, and is bilingual (English and one of the official mother tongue languages).

The intern will report to the Marketing Manager.
